Håkon Sælen har en PhD i statsvitenskap fra Universitet i Oslo (2016).
Han er nå ansatt som forsker, 50% ved UiO og 50% ved CICERO Senter for Klimaforskning. Begge steder jobber han på prosjektet CICEP Senter Internasjonal klima-og energipolitikk.
Håkon har vært ansatt på CICERO siden 2007. Han har en MSc i Environmental Change and Management fra Universitetet i Oxford og en BSc i Environmental Policy with Economics fra London School of Economics and Political Science.
Prosjekter
- CICEP Senter for internasjonal klima- og energipolitikk CICEP Senter for internasjonal klima- og energipolitikk er ett av tre sentre for samfunnsvitenskapelig forskning på miljøvennlig energi (FME) etablert av Forskningsrådet i 2011.
- Sustainable Edge: vurdering av klimarisiko i selskaper Eiendomsselskapet Entra er det første selskapet i Norge som får sine inntekter, investeringer og styringsstruktur vurdert på en skala fra mørkegrønt til mørkebrunt i henhold til Shades of Green-metodikken.
- AVIATE: Hvordan kan luftfarten bidra til lavutslippssamfunnet? Gjennom prosjektet AVIATE (Aviation in a low-carbon society) skal vi bidra til bedre kunnskap om klimaeffekten av luftfart både i Norge og globalt og se nærmere på virkemidler, tiltak og motivasjonen til luftfartsnæringen og myndighetene for å redusere klimaeffekten av luftfart.
