I have a PhD degree in Economics from the School of Economics and Business, Norwegian University of Life Sciences (HH, NMBU), and a MSc degree in Environmental and Development Economics from the University of Oslo.

My main research interests covers climate policy, climate impact, global energy market, asset allocation of Sovereign Wealth Funds, and asset pricing.

MYRIAD-EU: Improving disaster risk management through multi-hazard and multi-sector risk assessment

The EU-project MYRIAD-EU aims to enable decision-makers to develop forward-looking disaster risk management pathways that takes into account trade-offs and synergies across sectors, hazards and scales.

Quantifying health risks from heat and air pollution (HEATCOST)

HEATCOST will quantify health risks attributable to heat and air pollution (with a particular focus on air pollution from wildfires) in main world regions under selected climate scenarios and socioeconomic pathways.

EXHAUSTION

Increasing temperatures and heat waves due to climate change, combined with air pollution, constitute major health risks, and could cause an increase in cardiovascular and respiratory diseases across Europe. EXHAUSTION (Exposure to heat and air pollution in Europe – cardiopulmonary impacts and benefits of mitigation and adaptation) aims to quantify the changes in cardiopulmonary mortality and morbidity due to extreme heat and air pollution (including from wildfires) under selected climate scenarios.

Klima- og naturrisiko

Forskningsgruppen modellerer og analyserer hvordan miljø- og klimaendringene påvirker natur, samfunn og økonomien, utfører scenarioanalyser og gjennomfører stresstesting med utgangspunkt i kunnskap og kompetanse i å bruke klimamodeller og økonomiske modeller samt klima- og miljødata.
