Katrine is a senior researcher with a PhD in political science, whose work centres on climate policy, agricultural policy and the political economy of climate change.
Katrine is an expert on climate and agricultural policy, with a particular focus on the design and implementation of climate policy in sectors where emission reductions are difficult to achieve. She also works on broader questions of public policy, political economy, and cross-sectoral governance.
She holds a PhD in Political Science, as well as a BA in Human Geography, BA in Political Science and a MA in Political Science. She has been a visiting scholar at Ghent University and Stanford University. Her research combines qualitative and quantitative methods to explain variation in climate policy across countries and sectors, and to explore how and to what extent governance structures shape policy development.
Her current research focuses on the policy and governance associated with developing climate policy in agriculture.
