How to green a city - Urban planning for adaptation

Cities play an important role in our economy and society, but are also particularly susceptible to the impacts of climate change, such as extreme heat. However, there are specific policies that can be put in place to reduce these impacts and make cities more livable. This session will highlight some of these measures.
