Nina Bruvik Westberg is an economist with broad experience from consultancy and research
She holds a PhD in economics from NMBU, focusing on climate change adaptation and education in sub-Saharan Africa. She has previously worked in Menon Economics and Vista Analysis with among others evaluations and cost-benefit analysis. These analyses cover instruments to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, adapt to climate change, preserve nature and improve the living conditions of vulnerable groups. In addition, she has worked on among others pricing of ecosystem services.
At CICERO, Nina works on issues related to the transition to a low-emission society and climate adaptation, in Norway and in other parts of the world.
Nina uses both quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis, including field experiments and surveys, and GIS analysis.
