PITCH focuses on how governance, values and norms and organizations are important preconditions for societal transformation to happen in a climate change context.
The project links perceptions of risks and the need to act on the basis of scientific knowledge. Studies to what degree scientific knowledge is seen as relevant and legitimate. Studies the role of values, norms and livelihoods in shaping how we respond to climate risks. Looks at the interplay between the local and national levels and across relevant interest organizations such as industry associations.
